PC Is my base too much for current 7 days?

I play on PS5 and joined this forum just to point a few things out - I played on PC from A8-A12 and just returned a few months ago for V1.0 on the PS5 (my gaming PC is now ancient by gaming PC standards). I think the game runs extremely well for being voxel-based on non-optimal hardware, and the only stuttering I run into is Tier 5 and 6 POIs when a ton of zombies spawn in at the same time.

Interestingly enough, the game doesn't lag at all for me on horde nights, even on day 100+ when I'm absolutely swarmed from all angles, in an outfitted house with turrets, lights, electric fences, constant crafting, dew collectors, 20 storage chests, you name it. I wonder if the tracking of the zombies on the mini-map (that's not what it's called.. the compass on top of the screen) has anything to do with it, as trivial as that sounds?

I'm a software engineer by trade but not a game developer (full stack web so not fully relevant here) and I'd love to help in any way possible to debug and/or report any sort of issues like this. Just offering my support, as minor as it may be. This is by far still my favorite game even after a 10 (!) year hiatus and while performance isn't 100% (seriously, what game is perfect? Why should anything be perfect?)

I mention that I'm an engineer because I've noticed that complaints like the maniac in this thread are from people who don't understand the complexities at play. I may not make games for a living but I understand the limits of what you're working with. They don't understand the tremendous undertaking that is getting a huge game like 7DtD to run on a console.
