Is it possible to have console up while also moving around?

Basically can I hit F1 and have a way for that console to stay up while I do other things in the game like move around? Sort of an odd question, but there have been cases where I want to see what is being output in the console while doing XYZ activity without having to constantly stop what I'm doing to toggle console on/off every time.

Not really, and the output to the console is a bit limited. If you have second display, just open the log in Notepad++ and set the "Monitor" option. Log will scroll right there for you.
