Invincible Poi's while on quests

Most poi's have paths through them but you can just destroy everything to get to the loot room most of the time. So i was thinking when you start the poi on a quest it turns invincible like the traders that way people are forced to follow the path or for closed door use lock picks for shortcuts. When the final loot crate is looted or the quest is complete the invincibility  goes away.  Imo it should be an option when creating the game i think it would up the challenge for quests. I know some people wouldnt like it but for the option to be there would be nice. The Group i play with all love the idea and told me to post it on here.

Thanks for reading

Always watch ya back there's Zombies out there

I usually follow the route myself but I wouldn't want the POI to be indestructible.  Besides, with the bug with buttons not working, if you couldn't destroy those, you'd never be able to finish those quests.  If you and the people playing with you like following the route, it's very easy to do so.  Don't break stuff and you're all set.  There's really no need for it to be a setting unless you're trying to force someone to play the game the way you want them to play it (i.e. force them not to break stuff).  And that's not a good thing, imo.

I like a destructible world, but I certainly wouldn't begrudge anyone an option. Have you thought about things like:

Many POIs count on the zombies being able to destroy blocks, like armoire doors and various 1 hit point blocks. Zombies break down doors and walls to get to a player. There are ceiling tiles that are meant to break when walked on. There are traps designed to break and land mines to explode. Stealth players need to remove trash that can make noise when crossed and light sources that illuminate them in order to keep their stealth numbers low. Players with Parkour can jump upon high places in a room and zombies need to destroy blocks to reach them.

Are players still allowed to place blocks? They can't at a Trader. I don't remember if that keeps people from placing turrets, vehicles, or maybe a drone. If they can place blocks in an indestructible POI are those blocks to become indestructible too? If I place wooden spikes will they be indestructible?

Nah, don't like it. It's a sandbox game after all. If you wanna take the time to break your way into things, you should be able to. Also, would the doors be invincible too? So you could just close one and the zombies wouldn't ever get through? Or would doors only be breakable? Seems like a weird mechanic. If you wanna take the path TFP laid out, go for it. But don't try and dictate how the rest play. I wouldn't even want TFP wasting their time adding this as an option. It's just unnecessary.
