we need an AR15 and the 5.56 NATO round to match in in game 3 weapons use 7.62 so there needs to be 5.56 added between that and the SMG and switch sniper to 5.56
Intermediate rifle and cartridge 5.56 needed

I have to agree. There is no "need" for this at all. Just like we don't need to add 50 different weapons just people people would prefer to use a Ruger over a Smith and Wesson or some other nonsense.
This is a survival crafting game. Adding weapons for the sake of adding weapons serves zero purpose, and has no benefit.

I'll bite. Honestly, it would be nice to have a bunch of different weapons added into the game. As much of a survival crafting game it is, variety of weapons would make looting be more worthwhile and fun. People like collecting things. A huge part of the "replayability" of games is finding things that you don't already have. That said, I know we have modders, I know we have pretty strict limitations on items/textures, and I know it's not a Diablo spinoff, but it would make the game more interesting. It's hard to make the argument about using "Ruger vs S&W" being nonsense when we have piercings, cigars, skirts, shorts, blah blah blah... and umpteen hairdos.
