PC Industrial Lights

Quick question. Can you daisy chain industrial lights?

I mean go from a generator to a light and the go from that light to another light in a row without the need for a bunch of relays. I know I can just try and find out but the part of my base I am thinking of has yet to be put up.

Yup. Iirc they will still operate individually, so you should also be able to turn off one in the middle while leaving the others on. Switches/timers to turn off multiple, of course.

Yes. All electric items can be linked together with the exception of not linking multiple generators or solar banks together. Relays are only there to extend the wire length. You used to also use them to help hide wires, but now that wires are no longer visible, that's no longer necessary. So they aren't really needed for anything other than extended the wire length.

Until you want to setup a logic out of triggers, of course ;)
True, though there normally isn't a need. You're normally trying to not use a relay for logic rather than trying to use it. Everything is already serial (AND) unless you place two switches next to one another. And if you're trying to do logic, you're usually trying to do parallel (OR) (two switches activating something if either one is enabled) rather than trying to prevent that since you're normally not going to put two switches together if you're not trying to do parallel (OR) anyhow. But yes, there can sometimes be a reason to use them to prevent parallel (OR) logic. I didn't think of it when I wrote that. :)

Yeh, I guess the first problem people encounter is when they try to chain something like Trip Wires. Trip -> trip -> trip -> trip is a very different beast than Trip -> trip -> Relay -> trip -> trip, in two ways. First one is great for garage doors, second one not so much ... :)

Yep. It is never explained in the game, so people have to be told how to do multiple sensors for doors or look it up. The way it is designed isn't exactly obvious. When I first started playing the game, I asked people how to do garage doors that opened from both directions and they didn't think it was possible. I had to do some searching online to find out how to do it.

I use them so I don't have to daisy chain things that might end up getting broken (specifically traps.)

My bog standard base I have 4 relays connected together, each with 3 lines coming off to pairs of electric fences. Granted, I don't know if electric fences stop sending power when they "break" any more, but they used to.
