Improving the visual, gameplay and immersion

Why not add some kind of plot to the biome. How to reflect the consequences of the epidemic on each biome? For example, why is scorched earth scorched? Maybe add fire trucks to its territory? I would add a crater from a nuclear explosion to the waistland territory with an increase in the remains of buildings with an increase in the distance in radius. I would add wandering radioactive zombies to the epicenter of the explosion.

Maybe a row of cars on the side of the road in the desert and in general why not start putting zombies in transport so that they get out or break out of them? For example, in a transport truck. There is already a police car. It seems that zombies used to spawn right next to it, but I see it more as a call for a screaming zombie.

Are there any signs of military besides the bases? I don't remember it very well. Maybe some armored personnel carrier on the territory of a store... ugh. Maybe add broken military checkpoints to the cities, more police cars?

Maybe add a large number of burnt, old, rusty and blown up cars in traffic jams, fit only for iron? The asphalt can also be cracked and overgrown with grass (I don't remember if there is such a thing). These are all ideas that contribute to immersion in the game and attract interest to it.

Anyway, how about adding the remains of people who didn't die from infection? For example, closed rooms with people in the form of skeletons, surrounded by food packaging and a small amount of ammunition and weapons. (immersiveness) You can even start leaving notes with the story of how it all happened. The notes may end up telling about a treasure hidden in the house or the password to a hidden safe.

I also get a lot of pain in the eyes from the grass growing as if it were hair on a plague patient. In the Texas desert, grass does grow like this, but in a temperate climate, this cannot happen! Make it grow on all blocks with soil, except sand, stone, etc. Remove random grass placement. Use grass-free and grass-free blocks to create realism. Grass-free blocks can be placed randomly or conditionally in groups. It would also be good to make grass on the whole block if possible, and not a "sapling". Look at the photo of a real forest. The trees don't grow so sparsely there. Place the trees closer together.

Another funny thing. Personally, I hate parks where the bushes have been uprooted. This doesn't look like nature. I just searched in the game and in five hundred square meters I found, except for small trees, only one plant twice as tall as the grass that resembled a bush. 0_o

So IMHO bushes should also be added to the game...

Finally, make weather conditions and location selection affect something. As far as I know, this is not the case now. You can add sand and snow storms with minimal visibility in deserts and winter biomes. In the winter biome, you can reduce the passability in snowdrifts and add snowmobiles. In the desert you will have to carry two types of modifications to protect against the cold at night and the heat during the day. Radiation into the wasteland. By making the location more difficult, adding certain debuffs, weather effects and strong mobs, you can increase the drop of items in the selected location. Because my friend and I only play in moderate climates and nowhere else.

Isn't it funny to get a couple hundred simple ammo, a couple of books, modifications and a level 2 Kalashnikov assault rifle from the most difficult location in the wasteland, if you're lucky? I would like to get a grenade launcher with grenades and autogyro parts.

By the way, you can add the ability to repair weapons only if you can make them of the same level. Why not start leaving normal weapons in cars and buildings from the very beginning of the game then?

So far, the game environment resembles a joke about what a guy's apartment would look like if girls didn't exist: a powerful PC, a chair, a mattress, and that's it.

If the developers like my ideas, let them visit the forum from time to time. The post will most likely be supplemented. This may be not its final version.
