An idea for a rail tracks, for example a mine cart with tracks you lay down like in minecraft and also a surface train track system and have a mobile base on the train/carriage/freight carriage.
Different tiers.
Tier 1. Lever activated cart - requires stamina to use the level to move.
Tier 2. Steam loco - requires water and coal.
Tier 3. Electric loco - requires power ie. batteries or solar powered.
Also mounted weapons and armour upgrades.
Can also pull freight carriages to carry huge storage of resources etc.
