Yes, there was a disk version. You can still find them on Ebay.

Eventually, the current version should also receive a disk release, but one would hope that TFP at least waits until they finish the game in a few years first.

Cool, luckily I have it on my PS5 already, for the people wanting "empty jars" to make a come back, can buy the disc and have all the jars they want lol

Or the other stuff they are constantly posting to make the game exactly what they want instead of just playing the game.
 
What I don't understand is they want to fill their inventory and storage space up with useless crap, like the jars for instance, before the end of day 1 I can have a forge, and a dew collector built.... no need for jars because I'm already producing water in jars.
