I used to like to spawn in the snow biome. It's easy to find bird's nests, stumps, and blueberries.

Now there's roaming furball cruise missiles all over the place and I exit just harvesting what's in front of me.

Puddy is not filtered. I fixed the title so it is now correctly incorrect. :)

ElCabong is probably more of a Hanna-Barbera guy anyway...

 
Have you tried nerd poling with logs? It only takes a couple to avoid becoming cat food and a few more in case there's too many cats to play around.

placing a block under you while you can jump up and move up easily to a high floor or location (instead of making a ladder or using steps like people want us to do) :) ... why the hell its called nerd polling is beyond me but the new generation is renaming everything any ways... i always just called it box hopping as that is what the wood frames look like while you are doing it. :)

I'd have to be able to think to do that. All I can think about is beating that cat's head in with my club before I bleed to death.

The earliest Google result I could find for "nerd pole" is from 2010 and in reference to Minecraft. There is some discussion that prior to that they may have been called "noob poles". I've been playing Minecraft for about that long and I'd always known them as nerd poles.
