I lost my world.

That sounds like one from an earlier version of the game.  There is a link that was given in the news section for one of the versions (1.1 maybe) that lets you download the old version.  I don't know if the link is still valid after all this time, though. If this was caused by updating the game as I think it was, then keep in mind that it is usually better not to update in the middle of a game even if they say they are compatible, at least without making a backup.  There is always the possibility of running into problems.

Or just start a new game.  The game is intended to be replayed repeatedly anyhow.

That is from a Pre-Release Unstable Experimental build.  You should absolutely not be playing that save anymore.

If you insist on having a bad time though, here is the thread. Just be aware that you are going to have issues besides the map, and the only "fix" is to start a proper save on a Stable version.
