I don't see that much of a change with the new progression system except that it's possibly a little easier now.

I was okay with smoothies and I don't like injecting myself. I personally hate needles. I do like having to find shelter. You meet so many interesting people that way.

It is a little more realistic to craft an item that gets you into the biome. I liked getting the badges. Felt like an award for a job well done.

Instead of 500 nitrate only had to harvest 250. Shoot up, while trying to avoid a cringe (I didn't), drink some coffee, that one's done quick.

Mainly it was done to be a bit more realistic. This was what some people were asking for. I generally like the changes to it. Getting a magic badge from a trader felt a bit silly to me.

The big issue with 2.0 imo was the way storms were implemented. They feel like 3 hour time wasters. I know TFP is planning on implementing storm changes just saying.

I hated smoothies. They made no sense and not enjoying Injections is a very specific hate I imagine.

I also disliked being forced into shelter and the badge system was stupid. I actually enjoy the change that shelter can reset the biome effects allowing you to bunny hop from one area to other. It's annoying but not impossible to venture into the difficult biomes.

I respect your opinion, but it sounds like the exact opposite of what I like tbh.

If anything If I wanna complain. I think survival items should do more. Like give DM resistance and buffs to that biome. Speed is nice tho

I'm serious about cringing a little whenever I inject anything in the game. Steroids is the same way. I get over it real quick.

Personally, I don't care much about immersion. However, I think it's a real improvement that you don't have to unlock biomes in order. Depending on where I start, the Burnt Biome may be very far away, while the Wasteland may be close by. Higher tier quests usually lead me there. In version 2.2, for instance, I had some quests in the Wasteland, but I couldn't go there because I hadn't unlocked it yet.
