I cannot get A21 game to start! HELP

Hello!

Error Message:

"Launch Error"

"Settings.json not found"

I have been playing 7 days to die version 20.7 on my macbook pro for the last 6 months. Worked just fine. I am now trying to use the A21 version but I get this message every time and can't even load up the game. 

The steps I have taken so far:

1) verify game files

2) deleted all files from computer

3) uninstalled the game / reinstall

Nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas?

 
1. Exclude your game client and save folder from security software.

2. Follow the instructions in the blue announcement bar to clean old data. Especially any Mods folders.

3. Go into the Steam properties of the game, ensure that it is set to "latest_experimental unstable" build.

4. Validate the files at least two time. Three or four is recommended. Steam really sucks at finding everything on the first pass.
