I accidentally deleted my game, is there a way to get it back

I play on pc Steam. I deleted my game that I want to keep. Is there a way to get it back?

If you have a backup, yes. Else, no.

Yes.  If you didn’t do anything with your save files, it is gone now.

If the save files were on SSD, then like BFT2020 said, it's gone. But if it was on HDD, then there are software out there that can "undelete" files... sometimes (so long as nothing was written over top), but it's usually a pain in the butt and takes a long time. Realistically, it's not worth it at all... just start over and learn to make backups of your saves in the future.
