PC How far down should I dig to get maximum fall damage on zombies?

Hi,

I was curious, if I wanted to dig a pit, is there a cap on how much damage the zombies take from the fall? Is a 20 block deep pit overkill?

Looking for the optimal depth.

Zed fall damage is capped at 33% at 25 meters I believe. I got this info from one of Capp00's videos.
