Hit in Torso = Sprained/Broken Ankle?

Old Crow

Hunter
So Pimps.. why did you decide to unfix this?

When you made it so zombies would go for the lowest blocks first when attacking walls, you made it so getting hit in the torso can result in possibly getting a sprained or broken leg.

Situation that happened: I'm ducking for a sneak attack on something. Zombie comes up from the side and hits me in what should be my head or torso but.. nope. Sprained my leg.

Good job, guys.

Not to be completely negative: I'm really seriously enjoying 2.5 a lot. Good job, guys! :)

Hasn't it always been that way? Locational damage doesn't seem high on the priority list. Strikes me as random chance. Maybe those more familiar with the XML files can clear that up.

What I can't stand is that "flick of the wrist" thing, they've got going on. Sometimes, there's not even a flick of the wrist and you still get hit by a zombie.

They claimed to have fixed it a few years back, and it actually seemed to be fixed. Now it's an issue again, as I don't think they completely through through the ramifications of zombies hitting lower blocks first now.

Agreed, too, on that flick of the wrist crap. And the janky last-second "Han Solo" head jerk that causes last-second misses on headshots.

Headshots should be hard. I don't mind the jerky motions of the zombies, but if the "lower block first" decision has messed up locational damage, that might be something they want to look at.

It was even funnier for me. I'm rummaging through the trash, hear a zombie nearby, turn around, and he's standing on the bar counter, punching me. Physically, he could have hit me in the head or body. BUT, his punch broke my leg.

Right? It's kinda silly. Needs to be looked at.
