Hi guys, just a prefab question if I may please?

Hi. So I have my own dedicated server that I use to play 7 Days on. It's a machine in my house, not a rented Nitrado or anything like that. I've been playing different maps and really enjoying one particular prefab called "The Wright residence" or Mans07 I think it's called in the editor. I use that as my base and have it really nicely decorated inside and out and would like to be able to export it somehow for use in other maps. My question is, is there a way to do this from the data or map files on my server? I can find the prefab in the editors etc but it's in a vanilla state and I'm really looking to save the edited version if possible.

I am able to use the blue selection box to select the entire house in game but for the life of me it will not let me raise and lower the selection to capture and export the whole house and basement. I googled the heck out of it and apparently I'm supposed to be able to drag the blue, red and green arrows to raise and lower my selection etc but the arrows that I can see on the blue box are just green... I hope whoever reads this can understand what I'm talking about and may be able to help possible?
Anyways, thanks for reading and cheers for any and all help/ replies. :)

Make sure you enter dm in the console. Then once you hit Z to get the selection box, holding G allows you to drag it around. Holding Shift+G allows you to resize the selection box. Once you have the POI selected like you want, you can hit Esc and then hit Export Prefab. Hope this helps. :)

Holding G will give you arrows to MOVE the selection.
Holding SHIFT-G will give you arrows to STRETCH or SHRINK the selection.

I assume you're going to want to either import this saved base or turn it into a POI and have RWG place it. I wanted to point out that certain player blocks can cause problems, though it has gotten better in more recent versions. Blocks that are suspect are things like workstations and things that use electricity, like traps and lights. Workstations and lights, for instance, have different versions for use in POIs.

Thank you very much for the helpful replies guys. That fixed it for me. Also thank you for pointing out the possible issues with the blocks too as I hadn't thought of that. Top stuff and thank you again. :)

Oh, player light sources are different than POI light sources too. Player crops (farming) are different as well and I think the player variety might throw an error. Player farm plots are different too, though I don't recall if they throw an error.

Overall, I find it best if making a base into a POI for RWG, to make it really a POI knowing that once you move in you'll have to do some rennovation.
