Help!!!

Not sure what's going on, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, wiping all game data, running as admin, nothing helps. Game won't even start anymore, straight up crashes as soon as I launch, no loading screen, no nothing. Anyone run into this before?

Your issue is right there...

d3d: no support for this device type

I'd start with downloading fresh GPU drivers from the chipset's website and performing a clean installation. You might also want to re-run the DX9 setup.

If you are running the game on a notebook, they often have two GPUs: On-board (Intel or the likes) to save power in 2D mode and a discrete GPU for 3D games. Sometimes the notebook does not recognize a game as what it is and will not initialize the correct GPU to deal with it. On most notebooks you can check out the graphic settings in some control panel that you probably reach by an icon in the lower right corner of your taskbar. Basically you have two options then:

* Switch to the right GPU manually and start the game

* Add the 7days binary (exe) file to a list of applications to run with the 3D GPU

If you are not on a notebook, then SylenThunder is right as well and you should really check your GPU drivers. The error message simply means that Direct3D tries to initialize a GPU for 3D acceleration and the GPU it finds is not capable of the required features.

I hope this helps you, please let me know if it did so others may find this solutions as well if they have the same problem.
