Help: Prefab Editor throwing tons of Mesh Cache errors

Hello everyone, yesterday i ran into a major bug with my Prefab editor. It is now displaying tons of Mesh Cache errors, and everything that was supposed to have paint, or was painted a different color is back to default. I've been in and out of the file all weekend, and suddenly when i logged in i was like, where is all the color. and then noticed all the errors coming through. I had a seperate save, extremely old so it unfortunately doesnt help me anymore, but it does confirm that i'm not getting errors on that save, so it might be the save that got corrupted somehow?

Note: i have done a integrity check, it found 1 file but didnt fix the issue

I have been noticing this exact same problem in the prefab editor lately.  It was happening in Alpha 20 and 21, but it got far worse in 1.0.  And it only happens when you place a usable campfire while in the prefab editor.  Running the prefab updater fixes the problem.  But it replaces the working campfire with a destroyed campfire.  If you place another working campfire again, the console floods with mesh warnings.  Is this a bug or feature?

Many player crafted items are not intended to be used in a POI and can cause errors.  It seems a bit hit or miss whether you'll get errors, but generally speaking, you shouldn't be using them in a POI.  From the sound of it, a working campfire is one of those that cause errors, at least in 1.0.  We've seen new errors on writable signs in 1.0 as well.  These may get corrected at some point, but it seems the response to it from TFP is that player crafted items aren't intended for POIs.  I'm sure some POI creators have a more thorough understanding of what works or doesn't work in a POI without causing errors.

You are correct Riamus player made stuff shouldnt be used in a poi tho the player sign atm is all we have to tell stories etc and no actual poi sign (tho that be awesome if we could)

but turrets, dart traps, blade traps etc anything a player can make in game shouldnt be used in a poi as you mentioned..

Where I can understand that ready-made user craftables are frowned upon when used in a prefab.  What I don't understand is why the campfire doesn't have a random helper option?  I have seen POI's in the past with a working campfire.  As well as a useable workbench or forge or chemistry station.  Those last three have random helpers which can spawn working or destroyed versions at random.  Placing working versions of those won't cause errors.  But the campfire doesn't have a random helper and will cause errors.  Is that because TFP are ok with having working forges and workbenches in a user made prefab, but not campfires?
