I know this has been mentioned before but I wanted to bring it up again that the distance you can hear a gun shot in this game is really short that it almost makes stealth pointless.
I play exclusively on a pvp server and I find that after about 50-100 blocks you barely hear gun shots and that it makes stealth rather pointless.
It would be great in my opinion if gun shots could be heard from much further away, at least for players, you can keep the zombie aggro ranges the same.
