Gonna try to create a T5 quest dungeon.

Gobarg and i are going to try and build a tier 5 quest dungeon. I have not tried building a POI since A17 so not sure of the steps needed to export so i can edit in Pille's editor.

Are there things we should and should not do? Going to "try" and limit the size.

Any advice appreciated.

yes lol

1. dont paint unseen sides of blocks. IE: anything that touches terrain etc

2. always manually add zs by hand and only add 2 to 4 more then you will be calling in that volume. So example you have 10 zs placed call min 4 to max 8 or min 3 max 9 etc.

3. dont have 10 zs in a volume and call more then 10 zs.  also dont have 50 zs and only call 10 of them.

4. Dont paint a wood block concrete, simply use concrete blocks. same with wood dont use concrete and paint it the same colour as a normal wood block just use the wood block. Same with brick, flagstone and cobblestone. if you are painting a  a block flagstone texture just use flagstone blocks. (Wolf can explain better if i have confused you lol)

5. Dont over do the boss room 1 hardened chest (locked) vault doors can be used but also dont go overboard.

Thanks for the reply.

1. Cool was only going to paint the ones i could see anyway.

2. Not sure what you mean by "calling". Is that what it is called when you trigger the z's with sound or sight?

3. Oh i intend to call all of them.

4. We are building with wood (building in survival with all resources gathered normally) but i was going to switch them to concrete in the editor. Will i lose the painting if i do that?

5. Not a fan of locked vault doors so won't be locking them. I want to make the effort worthwhile but will keep it reasonable.

calling them means when you make a volume you put down so many zs and you need to say how many zs wil be spawning. that is what i mean by calling.

you dont want random amounts each time a player comes thru your prefab (is ok but when a player goes to your poi they will know how many zs and where they are every time.

the hardened chest needs to be locked lol the vault door you can leave wide open haha
