The blocks are different shapes, so that won't happen. However, they could add the density tool to the game itself rather than just the POI Editor, allowing you to remove that gap. Of course, increasing the density can mean you have dirt on the inside of your wall like you see in a variety of POI unless you design with that in mind. The day the Pimps make slopes like this align with the blocks next to it is the day i'm buying all 3 DLC's.

"There's a mod for that" is never of help to console players, though. There are a few things the base game probably could use that shouldn't be left to modding. Maybe that's one of them. That gap sure is ugly.there is a mod that can help with that
Is the OP on console? If not, a mod to allow them to do what they want is certainly a valid suggestion. Especially when it's unlikely to get anything in vanilla unless they decide to allow us access to the density tool in the game. Just because console users can't use mods doesn't invalidate offering mods to people who want something the game doesn't offer."There's a mod for that" is never of help to console players, though. Didn't say it did. I often recommend mods myself. Still doesn't help console players and it wouldn't hurt to make such a tool available in the base game. The OP's "Pimp Dream" is a good and useful one, imo, in comparison to the more off the wall and unfeasible I've seen.Is the OP on console? I use Voxel Block Terrain Connector for A20 and A21 mod even in 1.x. Haven't tested in v2.x, but I think it works well.
It does a perfect job on filling gaps, even better than with OCB's Leveling Tool mod.
POI designers do it by increasing density, which leads to terrain being seen inside walls, as you can see in many POI. Having that tool in the game would be nice, though.I mean, it's hard to disagree when we know it's possible in the game code. POI designers manage to hide the gaps, so surely there is a way to let players do it.
Which tool exactly is it in the Prefab Editor? The leveling tool that is brought by OCB's mod? 'Cause I haven't good experience with that mod. Never could fill the gaps like it is possible with Voxel Block mod.POI designers do it by increasing density, which leads to terrain being seen inside walls, as you can see in many POI. Someone else will have to tell you, but it is part of vanilla. No mod needed. I have rarely used the POI Editor because I think it is too clunky to be enjoyable. I know what is done, but I've never done it.Which tool exactly is it in the Prefab Editor? The leveling tool that is brought by OCB's mod? 'Cause I haven't good experience with that mod.
