Windows Game suddenly freezing lagging

I have a new Asus computer. I was playing the experimental version. I switched to the 2.0 stable. My game now lags and freezes. I tried reloading steam and the game with no mods but the same thing happens. The game was running beautifully before this. I have 6000 hours in this game and beginning to get pissed have spent all day trying to fix with no avail. Someone please help?

I have run the game without EAC and validated the files it always says I am missing a file and will reaquire it. Started new game but same thing happens. Never had this much trouble. Can you help?
