Game Save Not Created From Map Screen A21 B317

I just removed A20 and all save data and installed A21 on another SSD on my PC.  I started my first game of A21 with a new 8k map from seed 48.  After creating the map with my settings already done, I just clicked on New Game from the map generation screen while viewing the newly created map.  After playing til around midnight on the first night, I exited the game.  When I came back, I clicked on continue game but there were no saved games.  I went into the GeneratedWorld folder and the map name was there but only 2 files inside.  The Saves folder didn't have anything for the game.

I started another game using map seed 1 and started the game from main menu like usual and it saved just fine.

Is this normal or a bug?

Is this normal or a bug?

A world can get corrupted from an unusual shutdown. Like closing a lid on a laptop without shutting down

first, or using alt-f4 to close the program. Dunno if that is your issue, just pointing out a possible cause.

I've had corrupted saves before, but this was a lack of save.  There was no file to corrupt.  Just curious if starting a new game from the map generation screen was a known issue.
