Game not loading

So I have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified, and even tried switching updates but no matter what I do it fails to initialize when starting a game.

no matter what I do it fails to initialize when starting a game.
From the launcher/tools menu, select clean game data. Then check the player profile box and select "clean". After that,

close the launcher; don't start the game. From Steam verify files twice, then try again.

It looks to be an error with archetypes….you know, hair & eye color etc. That is found in the Data/Config folder. Delete the data/config folder then verify files twice and it will re-download a new copy if yours is corrupt. If that fails, post a new log.

You have a corrupted player profile somewhere. In one of your saves like @P3rf3ctVZer0says.

There are some known issues in a20.4 that can cause this (drones) and 20.5 experimental has a fix for it.

I don't know if the fix is retroactive though. (meaning I don't know if it will fix an already corrupted profile).

Can't hurt to try it. :)

Or, you could go to your saves and delete your player data, which would start you again at level 1, and then

replace your lost levels with the "giveselfxp" command. And replace your lost inventory from the creative menu.
