Also make sure to get answers to the following question before posting if the problem is related to an ingame aspect:

- Did you start a new game and re-create the issue? Yes, several times.

- Have you validated your files through Steam? Yes, and I reinstalled the game.

- After validation, did you re-try with a brand new game? Yes, I tried loading into a solo new game and joining a friends new game.

No matter how trivial the problem might be...

- List the seed name, and coordinates of the issue. N/A This issue is while loading in.

- State the size of server/host (how many players playing at the same time) This issue affects single player and joining other games.

- Is everyone else on the server (if applicable) experiencing the same issue? N/A

Pastebin for output log of most recent crash.

Sometimes the game freezes while loading. Sometimes it freezes after playing for 5-7 minutes. Other times it will output an error of "Outofmemory" in the console when it crashes. I can't play the game at all. I tried playing from the EXE, I tried GL Core, I tried playing with anti-cheat enabled. Nothing resolves the issue.

System is an i5, Radeon RX560 with 4GB GDDR5, 8GB DDR3 computer memory. I have an almost identical set up and the game runs without issues on the other computer. This computer is running Windows 10.

Going to move this to the support section.

First, read the Sticky FAQ on how to exclude your Steam folder or Client folder from your antivirus software. Might want to verify again afterwards, just in case.

Then since you're basically at the min req for RAM, close every program on your PC before starting it up again.

I will try this when I get home and see if things improve. I had not read this tip yet.

This was an initial concern of mine, but on my rig I play it with an slightly weaker Nvidia card no problem with the same amount of RAM and I've watched the process manager while loading the game and it will crash with only 4-5GB of her 8GBs of ram in use. Which is why I suspected a bug. I will try some things tonight and update.

Tis been worked around

I have a thread to fix this issue located here:

https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?96327-A17-crash-bug-A-workaround

This appears to be an identical issue. I tried everything and the only thing that got me into the game was switching it to 32 bit. I'm trying a checksum of the game now to verify I haven't mucked it up some how.

Even on 32bit I wasn't able to join a game through Steam, I know you mentioned that in your other thread, have you found a fix for that?

This sounds like a different issue Fleeing you might make this post in the bug report forums.

An update to my issue. I have tried all of the requested updates and nothing has improved the situation. It does appear others are affected by this issue, the computer has no problem running the game when I can get it to load in, but it only loads in successfully 1 in 10 tries and when it does it only works for 20-30 minutes.
