Game freezes on Building Environment on 1 save file

Started a new game from scratch with a friend, played about 5 hours yesterday and today the server refuses to load at all. It loads until "building environment" then just freezes from there. Upon loading another save file, it works perfectly fine. 

- no, its not my gear

- I've tried everything under the sun

How do you know you tried everything? There is a pinned thread in this "general support" section. It tells you how to post your logfile (in your case both client and server log)

Most likely the save game is corrupted. Is it possible that the server did not shutdown the normal way, i.e. that it crashed ?

Yep most likely corrupted files in that save. Would need a log to be able to give you any real information.

The Pinned Support FAQ Thread also has tips on how to fix that issue when it happens.
