PC Fun with Wrenches!

Not to be confused with Wenches, which are the Zombie Strippers - also fun, but different.

So my Morlock game - I'm in my mine, I decide I'm going to make one of the locations homey instead of merely functional. Throw down a wooden frame, equip my wrench, and right click.

BOOM. My character is covered in splinters and the wood frame is no more. Thank god for goggles.

I forgot that the wrench isn't a repair tool anymore.

Maybe if the devs are going to remove a function from a tool, they should make the corresponding button not do anything anymore.

Was kind of an irritating change IMO. Now I carry a stone axe in slot 1 from Day 1 to infinity...

I hear you. It's just not worth it to have a claw hammer in that spot - the efficiency gain isn't worth the repair kits.

hammer doesn't degrade when repairing, but does if used as a weapon.

I keep one handy until I get a nailgun.

It´s annoying at first, because we were used to it, now i don´t even think about it anymore. I really don´t need to upgrade outside of my base. If so, a stone axe can be made everywhere pretty fast. Never happened that i really needed to upgrade something outside of my base.

Pretty much this for me as well. Outside of my base, I can't remember a single time I've wanted to repair something, so the wrenchs lack of a repair function now doesn't really bother me, and lends more usefulness to the stone axe/claw hammer/nail gun set.
