There isn't going to be an update.
The next iteration of this game will be a whole new release. KB/M support is limited on consoles, but in the end, the decision to support it will lie on the new publisher.

I play with keyboard/mouse using a XIM Apex.
There is a 7 days config in the config listings that you can download into the XIM and modify however you like
It works great, but you need to have the mobile app and blue tooth on to talk to the XIM
