Windows Friend lost Note from the Duke in 2.0

On my local server, my friend lost teh Note from the Duke in 2.0 , he's played 20 hours already without realizing he needs it to start quest chain/challenges. How can he get it back either legit or developer cheats (we're desperate). Thx

Unless something has changed, you don't need the note. Just open challenges to start the challenges. To start quests, you have to complete the first line of challenges and then complete the intro quest that you get by asking about special quests.

As a side note, unless they have fixed it, if you are using a custom map that wasn't made with RWG or that was edited in the World Editor, if your first trader isn't next to the wilderness, they won't give you that intro quest and you will have to go to a different trader.

But if they did change it in 2.0 to require you to read the note, you can find it in the creative menu.
