Freezing on loading screen when respawning

My friends and I have been playing  on Xbox One pretty much every day since 1.0 was released on consoles. I am hosting and we haven't had many issues at all. I have notices some lagging when there are a lot of zombies, but I am also hosing 4 players. Last night was the first major issue and it is continuing. I can load the game fine, but when I die and respawn the game freezes on the loading screen. The console is not frozen since I can open the guide and quit the game just fine, but I can not scroll the tool tips with the triggers and the game does not load after I select where to respawn.

I have though about reinstalling the game to see if that works, but I don't want to delete the save game and loose everything. Especially if we restart and this happens again. We just made it to day 36. I vaguely remember this happening in the old console version too and that is what made us quit playing the old version. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or how to fix it?

I have ran into the same promble single player on xbox where died and the whole game frooze loosing all my progess not being able to respawn

We think we have fixed it for 2 of the 3 that was having the issue. Hard reboot of the Xbox, uninstall and reinstall the game. Seems to be working. We were able to respawn, we tried dying and respawning again and everything worked as it should. We are still having issues with one of the players and trying to figure that out.

Had the same issue happen again tonight. Both times were in the wasteland biome when we died. I think there is some glitch that happens if you die there.

We also were never able to get the fourth person's issue fixed. They even tried to make a new character profile and join as a new character and that did not work either.
