FOOTBALL ZOMBIES

Inspired by both the fact that its the Superbowl and PVZ... Would anyone be against it if TFP decided to add in football player zombies that charge at you? And I dont mean "Oh they run fast" I mean like a proper charge... Can use the "knock down" from if you get lept on by a Spider Monkey, daze you (similar effect to concussion just without the chance of having the effects lasting for 2 hours). Could give it the same armor and HP as a biker. Keeps everything lore friendly and just combines existing mechanics. What yall think? From what Revo said in the discord there used to be a football player zombie but it was just another style of zombie like Nurse vs Doctor.

Those high schools and stadiums especially could do with some football zombies if they can be ported from older versions. Nursie-poo could be confined to locations in which she makes sense, e.g. hospitals and ambulences, etc. I have to agree with the crowd on this one: the cast of zombies is pitifully small and appear constantly everywhere. Were they just "specials" like L4D specials, that would be a-okay, but they're not.

Here's hoping TFP has it in the time and budget to make them a little more...sensible if nothig else.

If I recall right, one of the reasons they were removed along with the Cheerleader zombies was because the Pimps didn't want zombies that were "restricted" to certain POIs.

Because football players and cheerleaders aren't capable of wandering off to other locations IRL, apparently.

Ah, well. So much for themed POIs? But, wait. Don't soldiers usually spawn around military encampments? Oh, you'll see one off by himself at times, but usually grouped around military encampments except on horde night when they all come out to play, of course.

No offence intended to the Pimps, but generic is the term that is most often coming to mind when I think of the game these days. Generic loot, generic zombies, generic....

I thought they got rid of football and cheerleader zombies because they wouldn't be a big part of a population and felt like they only belonged in certain settings.

Could the age of the zombie matter? I mean, we're not killing kids in this game. If you make them College and Pro football/cheerleaders then they get even rarer.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having them back in the game. The charging football player was fun and maybe the cheerleader would tumble, making headshots a pain in the butt.

Personally Ive always thought these 2 models were based on teenagers, not adults so I mean...

One of those (the one on the left) is a patron who gave a lot of money to be in the game. I forget his name. Tom...? I've always thought of them as adults, but I wouldn't say I've thought too deeply about it.
