PC Fixing Game Bugs in Game Files

Hi yall, hoping for some answers, even if you just tell me I'm dumb and should seek help elsewhere. I'm very new to playing on a dedicated server, but I have recently rented space from a newer company called Astral Services. I went through some trial and error with settings and ended up deleting all files under container/.local/share/7DaysToDie/Saves in order to (hopefully) reset the server state back to the way it was when it was installed. Things seemed to be fine, as it reverted the game state back to where I wanted it, except for items that I had crafted outside the trader were still present.

After accepting this, I started modifying some config files in order to permanently change game settings like BlockDamagePlayer, PlayerKillingMode, and QuestProgressionDailyLimit. Then, oupon restarting the server, the game loaded in with no challenges available - like the challenge window will pop up, but the individual squares where the challenge icons would be with their descriptions and instructions are not there.

I'm certain I probably deleted something I shouldn't have, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way I could fix the issue myself, or if I should contact Astral themselves and ask for a full re-work of the installation script in order to undo my mistakes.

Thanks in advance for the help - I'm trying to learn as I go!

Some good news - I remembered I had a backup image of the server saved so I reinstalled from that. Good news is that the challenges are back. Bad news is that there are cacti everywhere - I think the world save was corrupted after the update the other day. So now, I really just need help resetting the game state to day 1 hour 1 like a fresh game file, but from console and files. So specifically, which file in which folder needs to be deleted or changed in order to have my game load back in a fresh new state?

Again, apologies for my stupidity here lol

If you want the same map (the ServerConfig.xml  'GameWorld' setting) but a new, fresh copy then try changing the 'GameName' setting.

That should create a new save using the same map.
