Howdy Survivors!

If you've ever had a hankerin' for more of the Old West town feel full of frontier wonder, old-world grit, and really cool hats, then it's time to saddle on up to the Wild West Mod and the talented team behind it!

This mod rolls back the world of 7 Days to Die to the mid-19th century in a brand new map called New Frontier, full of thematic and era-specific POIs, items, entities, and even ridable horses! Along with new quests, there are also additional types of in-game challenges to perform, requiring specific items against certain enemies to complete, keeping even seasoned survivors busy.

Thank you for the feature. It means a lot to the Wild West Mod dev team, and close knit group of community members who have invested a heap of their time and experience to help make it what it currently is.

The primary Wild West Mod dev team are currently Oakraven (models), Medusa (POIs), Tallman Brad (environmental design), and arramus (back end compilation).

However, as with much of the 7 Days to Die modding and gaming community connections, there has been a lot of collaboration and support, which makes this community something special.

Thanks to the Guppy Modding Community, Darkstardragon for helping hook up the Bison, Guppy for the Crispy Vulture, Bdubyah for xml expertise, Chaz916Gaming for the Wild West Mod Pack offerings and free hand to use them as we see fit, MPLogue for being there at the beginning, Stallionsden for the ranch and timely communications, Zeebark for her own style of POI additions, and Khaine for those quality of life modlets and a free hand to adapt. There is also Magejosh whose ground work in the 'Not Medieval Mod' could be transferred over to the Wild West Mod, and Telric for those early release horses and current horse feeding buffs, and District Zero's Zilox for showing a novel approach to incorporating animations to switch based on innate vehicle gas regulation. Thanks also to the NPC Mod team for 0-SCore (dedi server netcoding for animal animations and quality of life features on top of optional NPCs) and Xyth for the 0-XNPCCore for optional Cow Hand Helpers. Anyone not mentioned was not intentional.

As for the testers, streamers, and long term community supporters, there are heaps.
Tabby (has her own POI and encyclopedic knowledge base), Gee Bee (has his own POI), Mr T (has his own Super Catacorn POI), Peggy (is an NPC character), Christymuz (is an NPC character), Stormi (has her own POI), John (is an NPC character), Blair at 6906 Gaming (has his own theater POI), Lyle at Patrol Nation (has his own ranger POI), SpecBytes (has her own POI) and Shots & Giggles, Loveshack and Captain Brian Higgs (have their own hotel POI), Ade (has his own refinery POI), Deeds (for testing and feedback), MauricioTurotiais (Localization Mod), Spartan-85 (has Splint Eastwood hospital POI) and Rattdogg, Cactus Dan (has his own POI), Jean's Gaming (has his own BBQ POI), Culture Gaming (educational streams), NAGG duo, TOT_marcus_TOT (marathon streams), Capp00, and and and.... for anyone not mentioned add your name here ( ).

And the TFP team do use their own private time to offer community outreach modding support with -TSBX-, LazMan, and chikorina keeping a close connection.

For anyone looking to give the Wild West Mod a try, feel free to join the Discord and connect with others to start a play through and hit the trail.
