Fast TRavel?

Been anything to either Multiple Beds to spawn in? or Fast Travel? Teleporting?

I love building in the Pine Forest, but I travel and explore all area, and its always so much time killed moving around from place to place.
Would like to be able to be in the Snow and I get killed and have a spawn point there instead of back home, 2 K away or so.
 
Placing down a bedroll will make it your respawn point but you can only have one. There is no way to fast travel or teleport in this game. In order to travel far and fast, there are a wide variety of vehicles (with the gyrocopter being the fastest and the 4x4 having the most storage iirc).
 
Yea I have the vehicles, just would be nice if there was a faster way to travel from point to point. Never had the copter, I might have to try it when I get where I can make it.

Try small maps, fast travel makes the existence of vehicles meaningless, and dangers such as running out of gas at night have no consequences.
 
Fast travel has been discussed by the devs (in passing), so may eventually be added. However, it's not a big deal with drive around the map. Use at least a motorcycle and add a supercharger once you can and you can get between places very quickly, even on a larger map.

If you absolutely must have fast travel, you can enable the debug mode by pressing F1 and typing dm and hitting enter, then closing the console with F1. You can then press ESC and teleport to any POI using the POI Teleporter. You could also just use the teleport command in the console, but you'll need coordinates or another player to use it. However, I don't recommend doing that in a normal game. It's better to just use the vehicle to get around.
 
If anything, there may be fast travel between traders, but until then, gyrocopter is your friend for big maps. Smaller maps (6k or less) a motorcycle is probably fine

Ctrl... so that's how that works. Lol. I knew there was a way since I saw them do it in the dev stream, but I wasn't sure how to make it happen. That will be useful when I'm testing stuff.
