Farming Bug/issue

After the farming change not only do I have to make seeds but each seed I get by chance takes away from my number of crops harvested as if I made the seed from the crops!!!

 
That sounds like a weird bug, so first off, are you sure about what you're seeing? And are you actually losing yield, or is the loot event just somehow showing odd numbers?
