It seems that exportcurrentconfigs no longer displays the changes made by mods.

Well, not entirely true, it shows the changes but there is no longer an uncommented line pointing you to where the changes where made, this makes things much more tedious.

I am thinking this was a mistake in the update or they thought this would save on file space for heavily modded games (I disagree on the impact thought).

Not sure this belongs in the Tools thread.

Confirmed this today and it is not showing changes so yes it makes life more tedious for modders ... probably a mistake

Maybe a moderator can move this thread to the correct place as to me it is a broken feature in A17.3

 
It's changed a bit. Go into your save game folder and check out ConfigsDump, but do not run the exportcurrentconfigs. It's done automatically the first time, with comments.
