Everytime My Friend Joins, I Crash and Vice Versa

Hello, this game worked pretty well about a year ago for me and friend, but for the past 7 months we've had the same problem of joining and crashing. We both downloaded the game on steam and played it together for a little bit of time before the problem began. We've tried verifying game files and turning on the setting Network Workaround with no such luck. I would appreciate some feedback on how to fix this since Youtube was no help and none of the topics really fit my problem.

Btw, I have tried multiple times with the exact same thing everytime

 
Install A21 (b37), then, from the Launcher/Tools/Clean game data... menu, check all the boxes and press clean.

I've done this already, i was just checking A20 to see if i could join (couldn't find a21 logs, but thought this would convey the same message), but no luck, I have cleaned my stuff before, but I will do it again see if anything changes, thank you

The weirdest part is though is my friends can join each other, whereas I crash people that I join and they crash me

Try disabling any and all "boosters", especially the "gaming network boosters", I think it's called GameFirst. There's a reason for me asking this, their boosters have been a gaming bane forever now. Also  just to be sure, did you try the network workaround option?

No, you probably have a different problem with somewhat similar results. That is why it would be a good idea to make a new thread and follow the advice of SylenThunder above
