Epic Online Services making game not load

Hi. I bought the game for Christmas and was having issues with loading to the main menu. I just figured out today that the reason why is because the Epic Online Services appears to be having issues, it isn't connecting or something. To make this issue worse, for some reason the "Play Offline" button is greyed out, not letting me play the game solo, which was my original intent anyway. In case it matters, I bought the game on Steam, and this is also for the most recent stable build, I think, I didn't mess with anything in the properties.

Have you tried excluding your 7 Days folder from your antivirus? It may be blocking the EOS connection. If it already is excluded, post your log file using pastebin so we can take a look at it.

Something is blocking your internet connection to EOS, did you exclude your 7 Days folder from your antivirus program like I suggested before? Your log errors are very typical of your antivirus blocking that connection.

Yes, I excluded it, I have stated this already.

What I do not understand is why this is also preventing me from playing single player, in an offline game.

Here, I made a second pastebin as well, another file, this one I can also assure has the exclusion in play, on the off chance the previous one didn't have it applied for some reason. https://pastebin.com/ayJw9ixw

try to open the link in your webbrowser:

https://api.epicgames.dev/sdk/v1/default?platformId=WIN

As far as I am seeing, that link opened instantly, as normal

7 Days to Die also appears to be allowed through my firewall, so unless it's using some other app to communicate, that isn't the issue. If it does use some other app, we may have found our culprit.

Thought that doesn't appear to be it either as there isn't much not being let through my firewall when it comes to apps

Just had the same problem as you, I unplugged the ethernet wire, having the same problem but the "play offline" button wasn´t greyed anymore.
