eos server not found

Error when connecting my friend to me “It says that the server is still starting, wait a minute” We checked everything and the integrity of the Steam files too. Has anyone else encountered this?

This all started an hour ago. I found out from another friend, his friend can’t join him either (same error) But at the same time I can go to my friend Another friend can visit his friend, but he can’t join them I understand that it sounds confusing, but I’m at a loss

My wife and I are having the same issue on console. She is unable to locate my map, or any others in the search option. I am also unable to manually invite her to my game. 

 
It appears that the issue may be resolved as of this post. Wife was able to find my map in a search, and I was also able to send invites to people again. Confirmation from an additional source though would probably be wise.

Epic still lists it as an issue, and other people are still reporting problems. 

So it may be resolved in some regions, but not everywhere.
