I would like to see a type of energy/nature bar added that is able to be made fairly early by players that gives a little bit more food than just eating raw veggies. My thought is that it would be made out of the tree seeds and be combined with the animal fat, and then made in the campfire. You could even have it require 2 different types of seeds required or have a blueberries included for a higher return of energy breakdown for the recipe if needed for balancing issues, but this way towards mid / late game players won't just have stacks upon stacks of seeds for trees that are discarded. Thoughts?
