PC Electricity components soon?

I have been playing for some time now, and was hoping to learn when the electric components were coming to PS4. Im interested in using the traps, generators, and wiring. I absolutely love this game, but the only thing that erks me is that the development and updates with PS4 seems to be lacking quite a but behind PC.

Anyone know if and or when the new (but old to pc users) electrical stuff is available??

 
This would have been better posted in general discussion as this thread is for meeting up with other players, so your question could be overlooked.

Having said that, the short answer is: we won't know until Clare does, at which point she'll post it in the News and Announcements section as part of the patch notes. Personally, I don't think we'll be seeing this for a while yet, if at all - it comes down to whether it's stable on the PC and whether the console will be able to handle it.

 
Well thats a let down. Is there a timeframe to which the game will be complete with no more updates? I'm new to games that are still in development, so please excuse my ignorance.

 
The game will most likely see some more updates as far as content and not just bug fixes. Console will definitely see more bug fixes though before seeing any content. No word has been given on how much longer TFP are going to be in alpha on pc. Speculations are they want to be done by A19 but depending on how things go could go a little longer. So if that is the case and say A19 is the last alpha based on how long the alphas have been it will probably be about 2019. But this is just speculation so keep that in mind.

So back to console. A different company then the ones making this game came to the developers of this game and worked out whatever deal they made to port this from pc to console. As far as I know this is all they are doing besides fixing bugs. They are not actually designing the game itself. They only bring things from pc that are complete. So take the added zombies from pc in A15 they didn't come to console because they was not complete they didn't like them so instead of working on them more they redid them and replaced them. They are still working on them or was at least when console got the summer update. They added some stuff from A16 in the last console update because they was done. If you notice in pc section you have multiple A16 then on those you have experimental versions and stable versions. This is what I mean by still working on them. But also keep in mind nit everything in stable release means finished either so it can be confusing at first lol. Back on point when console got the summer update they was finished with A15 and had just moved to A16. So everything or just about everything that was finished in A15 was brought over to console. Now does not mean something down the road don't change or gets replaced just mean for that version they are currently done working on it. Because of console limitations not everything will make it from pc to console but the next update when the time comes will get posted in the news and announcement section. For now one can only speculate. My personal speculation is based on what I said above console will not get another content update until A17 is being released on pc. Just like console didn't get A15 updates until A16 was released on pc. Now I can't even speculate what will be in the next content update because I have no clue what so ever how much more the console can handle. But as far as bug fixes update is really another speculation but probably give or take once a month. Hope this helps a little in some way.

no electricity update

i think this is a dead game on console so i wont buy it on steam as there is no electricity update on console..... :crushed:
