PC Electric lights fade out and fire ones do not

Anyone know how to fix this?

The electric lights i use fade out and dont keep lights on in the distance but fire does.

 
Electric lights do not have the glow radius that they should., imho, and I *believe* it's baked into the model, so can't be edited.

IMHO the lights have way way way too short of a range, but there's nothing we can do about it and I haven't seen the pimps acknowledge it as any form of issue they care about.
