In world editor im trying to delete a chunk of ground to make my own river. Everytime I delete it and walk away it refills itself. Ive saved it and started a new game to see if it was just not loading right in editor and its still refilled. Ive used terraine editor and the delete selection tool, nothing keeps it empty. Please help me.

The world editor only allows editing POI (placing, removing, rotating, etc).  You cannot edit terrain (actually, you just can't save those edits).

Hopefully they eventually finish the editors.  There are many things like this missing or half finished in them.

Wow, I didnt know that. Thanks for answering, no one seems to answer on most forums.  1 more question then. How do people edit entire maps to what they want? Is it kinggen?

Kinggen only has very specific use in the current versions of the game.  Teragon is the map generator that people are starting to use, though it has a steep learning curve.  See the official post in mods>tools forum for details.

Other than that, some do things by hand in a paint program.
