Clean server install, clean client install. Yes I verified files via steam.
A15.2 - I know, I know, it's an old version...
I join my own server, which has EAC disabled, and I get the popup message
EAC Integrity Violation
Unknown file version
(7daystodie_data/managed/unityscriptlang.dll)
You will not be able to play on EAC protected servers during this game session.
Click OK, client terminates.
I run it again, popup has slightly different message:
Unknown game file (...System.configuration.dll). Same end result, click OK, kicked from server, client terminates.
I can't join my own server, which as I mentioned has EAC disabled.
In the client log there is a flood of "unknown file version" for various files in the managed directory.
This is a brand new fresh client install, and I subsequently verified files via steam, still does it. Is there a way to disable EAC in the client itself? The server supposedly has EAC disabled:
<property name="EACEnabled" value="false"/>
And the server log confirms eac is not running.
