E-key not working

It's been a while, but pressing the E key to open something doesn't work anymore. It's in a down state. I wonder if there's anything I can do about it.

 
Yes, read the sticky thread in this section that tells you to read it and then follow its advice how to post a logfile.

And, if you are using a mod, ask the mod author.

Maybe they haven't played in a long time and don't realize that E isn't for pickup on plants and such anymore?

 
Not the flowers, but the box too. Is the line down? I'm not sure if the line is down or not, so I can't even chat. Sometimes I log in and don't wake up for a long time, other times it's right after I log in. There are no logs of errors or dropped connections.
I'm sure there are others out there who have this problem...

Sure, but with very little information, there is no way to determine what is the problem.
