PC Duct tape required for...

I noticed that bellows now require duct tape. Please stop. It was bad enough when suddenly splints required duct tape. Woodsman wandering around would break their leg and need to make a splint on the go and what, sorry, you can't get duct tape so screw you.

Now bellows. Cmon, yes I know you can find duct tape in a variety of places but the recipe already was increased to require nails. For goodness sakes stop making things more annoying.

I see no benefit in making the recipe harder, but most games i had it was no issue.

So from me no real meaning. Hmm what is a meaning about this topic^^

Unless you're grinding out bellows, I don't see it to be a problem at all.

I wouldn't really want to see recipes become complex for most things, but for things that you wouldn't need too many of, I'm all for it.

Are you denying the overall real world importance of duct tape? The true message of this game is that we should all be stocking up on it now.

i cant find it but my fave ever pic on line was two piece affair

left half = dr who going 'oh no theres a rip in the space time continuum how are we going to fix it?"

right half = jamie and adam leant back with folded arms "duct tape"

id love to see that one again

Duct tape is one of the easiest things to find/make ingame not sure what the complaint is. There are much harder things to find/make.

My dad told me of a real world example where two guys took a small 2 seater plane to some remote location in the middle of nowhere. In the middle of the night, some bear attacked the plane, probably because it wanted some food inside or something. The wing(s) were completely trashed. They managed to make it air-worthy again by patching the holes with a bunch of duct-tape, and successfully flew it back home.

Never under-estimate the power of duct tape...

Now the real story. Duct tape was created to keep munitions dry in WWII. It was referred to as DUCK because it kept the munitions dry and water shed from it like water off of a ducks back. It was Army green and used to seal crates and such. After the war some people figured out that it was great for sealing ducts for HVAC systems. Thus it was changed from Army green to silver and the general population started calling it "duct tape". The Duck brand is the big dog here and is owned by ShurTech.

I say we go back to calling it DUCK or military tape for the apocalypse. :p

Moral of the story... anything can be made with duct tape.
