The current code with the drone will generate a heal if you are injured. It will continue to tick and if the heal isn't fast enough and you are still injured the drone will issue another heal (stacking the heals), this will continue until your heal is near full.
There needs to either be a longer delay or some logic to see that there is a long heal ticking and not issue another one. Or there needs to be a game option (hint) that says continue to heal if injured or wait until the existing heal buff expires.

- Use the current game (2.6b14).
Start a game.
Creative in a drone, drone heal mod, some large first aid kits.
Outfit the drone with the mod and healing kits
Inflict self damage so you are low on health.
Watch the results.
I have uploaded the output log along with the ConfigDump so you can see I am not using any mods.
