PC Drawbridge placement

Is anyone else having issues with placing a drawbridge, i try to place it on the blocks that i put down but it keeps jumping in front of them or behind them.

Drawbridge was wonky in 2016 and still is today, but we can now lay doors on the ground so we have mini bridges
