Double Tap to jump higher

There's some spots in pois where having parkour is a hindrance. And lots of spots in game where jumping through a hole in the wall or window is a pain because of parkour. Is it possible to make it a double tap to jump the 2 or 3m hight and a single tap for 1m jump? Or a tap vs hold?

It's a really good perk but when you don't need it parkour can be a real pain. It would be a good qol improvement to be able to choose between the 1m and higher meter jumps. I don't honestly think you need to distinguish between 2 or 3m jumps. Just the 1 and above would be good enough for 99% of situations.

It could probably be done with the throwing, powerthrust mechanic. Hold and fill the bar then Super Mario it, that would allow for

multiple height type jumps.

I really wouldn't enjoy having to double jump all the time.  In 99% of cases, I would want the full jump.  But I do agree that it's a Royal PITA to get through some windows, especially if they have a frame on the top.  Sometimes crouching and jumping works, but sometimes it won't jump high enough, so it's hit or miss and not nice to have to do.  What I think is the best option is the other one you mentioned... tap vs hold.  Hold to do the full parkour jump, tap to do a non-parkour jump.  I think most people who play action games or FPS games have probably gotten used to holding jump to do a longer or higher jump, so for many players, it's already a habit.  I know I tend to hold jump when I need extra height or distance even though it doesn't actually do anything in this game.

I would prefer proper vaulting animation instead of high jumps or double jumps. Player should rather jump and grab a ledge with his hands, then pull his body up.

Do you mean a momentum, gravity enhanced jump like the change to motor cycles

and the velocity throw for the spears?

If so i agree, that's basically what I meant by using the filler bar, while running fill the

green bar then arc jump based on the parkour level. A single tap would be the default jump.

But would have to add the stumble animation or it would look a little odd on landing.
