I have been playing 7DTD since it was first out. I have bought it now a total of 4 or 5 times between my XBOX(es), my son's XBOX(es), and Steam on my laptop(s). I don’t even know how many total hours I have played the various editions across all platforms, but I am certain it is a number that I would almost be ashamed of admitting to. I have quite literally played this game longer than any other video game on any platform ever, and my video game playing stretches back to the original days of Pong on your TV.
Up until now, I have embraced each time I had to restart from the bottom due to incompatible updates. I have embraced the various changes made to the Zs, the crafting system, skills/perks, the biomes, etc. I could see and understand why the various improvements were made and I largely agreed with them.
However, this Storm's Brewing update, for me, utterly stinks. I haven't even earned the vaunted "Biome Badge" for the wasteland biome yet and I'm already done with it.
I'm not here for discussion. I don't need to know how many people love it. I don't care to know "why I should love this new version." I'm just done with it.
I don't wish ill on the success of the game, or on The Fun Pimps. I honestly hope I am in the minority. It's just not my game anymore, and that makes me sad.
